Doncaster Civic Trust is an independent group of local people interested in Doncaster's heritage and particularly concerned to promote the preservation and conservation of historic buildings, high standards of new building design and landscaping, the protection of places of natural beauty, and increased public awareness in the environment.

The Trust is a registered charity and operates on a voluntary basis. It welcomes new members, particularly those able to take an active role in its work. For a modest annual subscription, it offers members talks, meetings, social events, and a regular newsletter. Its various groups cover conservation and planning matters, tree planting, social activities, and other specific projects.

For some years Doncaster Civic Trust has been an influential voice in the town, particularly when the environment is under threat. If you would like to further your interest in Doncaster's historic buildings and areas, why not join the Trust?
