Art and Photographic competition.
In 2022, Doncaster Civic Trust set up an art and photographic competition.
Its aim was to encourage artists and photographers to produce works, celebrating Doncaster's buildings.
After an initial public vote, a short list of the twelve highest winners were selected from seventy-seven entries, and from this twelve, a panel of six judges voted and a winner, a runner up and two third place winners were selected.
The winner and also runner up. Sarah White produced these two paintings featuring Sunny Bar and the Earl of Doncaster.
Nicola Knox and Michael Marston were joint third, with their submission featuring Clock Corner and the Minster at night.
The four winning entries were later shown in the Art Gallery of the Danum Gallery Library and Museum.
All twelve winning entries also featured in the 2023 Doncaster Civic Trust Calendar.
